The first step is to book your cruise stateroom through Seas'n Sun Travel. Browse the available retreat dates, click into the itinerary for full details on the trip and an outline of scheduled activities, then click to get registered!
The cruise line will require a deposit to hold your room. Then you can set up a payment plan, make additional payments on your own schedule, or simply save up the full amount for final payment three months before the retreat.
Meanwhile, you will receive an invoice from Wave Writers to pay your retreat fee for each participating writer, and you are IN! We can start planning travel, activities, and any extras you are interested in all along the way (hello, drink package!).

If you've never cruised before, I can tell you it is a very inclusive way to travel. While there are definitely extras you may want to consider (drink packages and wifi come to mind), your cruise fare already covers the vast majority of what you will need for the week.
Of course, your cruise fare includes your sleeping accommodations: a private room, with daily cleaning service from your friendly cabin steward.
Every meal on board is covered by your cruise fare: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and unlimited snacks! This includes water, basic coffee & tea, and select juices at breakfast. Oh, and table service for our three-course dinner? Included.
Need a break from writing? Done for the day? Unwind with a Broadway show, relax up on the pool deck with an inspiring view, or play a round of trivia in the piano bar on board. Most entertainment & activities are already included.
It is always free to step off the ship in one of our Mexican ports of call. Spend the day (window) shopping, explore the port area, and enjoy a taste of the local culture at no additional cost.
